Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Transfers DownUnder, your premium chauffeur service in Melbourne. By using our services or booking through our website, phone, or email, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Bookings
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
- Advance booking is recommended for guaranteed availability.
- By confirming a booking, you agree to these terms.
2. Payments
- All fares are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and inclusive of GST.
- Payment is required before or at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made.
- We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and approved business accounts.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the pickup time will not incur a charge.
- Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a full fare charge.
- No-shows or failure to notify us of delays may result in full fare being charged.
All third parties are obligated to protect your data in accordance with privacy standards.
4. Waiting Time
- A 15-minute grace period is allowed for standard pickups.
- For airport transfers, we allow 60 minutes of waiting time from flight landing.
- Extra waiting time may be charged in 15-minute intervals.
5. Luggage
- Please inform us in advance of any excess or oversized luggage.
- We are not liable for any lost or damaged personal items left in the vehicle.
6. Passenger Conduct
- Seatbelts must be worn at all times.
- Smoking and alcohol consumption are not permitted in any vehicle.
- We reserve the right to refuse service if a passenger behaves inappropriately, is intoxicated, or poses a safety risk.
7. Child Safety
- Child or booster seats are available upon request and must be booked in advance.
- It is the passenger’s responsibility to request the correct restraint for their child.
8. Delays & Force Majeure
- We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or events beyond our control.
- If a vehicle breakdown occurs, a replacement will be sent as soon as possible.
9. Vehicle Availability
- Vehicles are assigned based on your booking details.
- We reserve the right to upgrade or change vehicles when required at no extra cost.
10. Privacy & Confidentiality
- We respect your privacy. Any information you provide is kept confidential and used solely for your service.
- All chauffeurs are trained in discretion and professionalism.
11. Liability
- While every effort is made to ensure safety and satisfaction, Transfers DownUnder is not liable for loss, injury, or inconvenience resulting from service use.
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking in question.
12. Updates to Terms
- Transfers DownUnder may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
